Well, I had my first 'regular' doctor's appointment Wednesday of last week and he said that everything looks and sounds good. There were a couple things that carried over from the specialist that I had to ask him about and he gave me an answer that sort of brought me back to reality. He said that from now on, we just treat this like a normal pregnancy....I haven't been 'normal' for 5 years!! Now, there was no explanation at all for why we weren't 'normal', but just hearing that was great! I don't have to take any of the additional medication that I was given by the specialist and I see the doctor like a normal pregnant woman! It's still so surreal! I sort of have to keep reminding myself that I am pregnant...I know that sounds weird.
Other than that, things have been pretty boring over at the Payne household. We did decide to walk the Mini this year (although that was the first weekend in May...I just hadn't told you all about it yet). We finished that in just over 3 hours...and we decided to NEVER walk it again. I'd run that thing 14 times before I walked it again! My feet are STILL all messed up! Jacob's been busy with work and trying to fit in as much golf as possible on the weekends! He says he played the best round of golf in his life a couple weekends ago...Master's here we come!! I think he could give Tiger a run for his money...especially with Tiger's knee issues! I'm still at home trying to NOT sleep all day! It's getting much better now, but there for a while, I just could not get enough sleep. I've not been having many problems or issues with sickness, but I do get nauseous from time to time. It's all totally worth it though and I'd take 9 months of sickness because I know at the end of it, we'll have our little baby and everything will be a distant memory.
So, that's all I have to share for now. Next doctor's appointment is mid July.

What a GREAT day!

Our second ultrasound was today, and what an amazing experience it was!! It actually looks like a baby now (although a tiny baby...sort of like a Teddy Graham!) and not a blueberry! AND we got to hear the heartbeat. I tell you, I just cannot get over how absolutely amazing this is! This is just awesome! It makes all the nausea TOTALLY worth it! It's such a silly thing to be bothered with once you see that little baby!
I've been released from the fertility specialist and will now be seeing my doctor in Lafayette. That was sort of a sad chapter to close. Everyone at the clinic has been so nice and so understanding, you sort of feel like family there. But, it will be nice to start saving on the gas! I haven't called them yet, but I assume I'll start seeing them in a few weeks. Especially since I've already had 2 ultrasounds....but then again, what do I know? I just look forward to another ultrasound to see that little miracle again!!!
