Payne family blog: June 2010

Well, after SEVERAL requests for an update on the blog, I'm finally taking the time to do so. Things have been absolutely insane around here the past few months that I don't even know where to begin! We've been working our tails off trying to get the house ready to sell and I say with mixed emotions that the for sale sign went up this afternoon. It's very exciting to, hopefully, enter the next stage of our lives, but we're going to miss this little house very much! If we could pick this house up and move it to our new location, we would. But, it will be very exciting (and exhausting) to start all over again in a home that we're planning on spending many many years in.
Dietrich has been dealing with us being preoccupied with house issues very well. He gets annoyed with us from time to time, but we know that this pending move will give us SO much more time with him. He certainly is turning into a little man and I'm finding it hard to believe that he's not my little baby anymore! He's such the independent little guy (I have no idea where he got that from) and I just love watching him explore his world. We've made a couple trips to Columbian Park Zoo and he had so much fun watching the animals and running around. He's also spending some of the hot afternoons in his pool. Just like Mommy, he LOVES to play in the water!
Since I know no one really cares to read this...I'm going to save myself the time and quit typing. I know the only reason anyone ever checks this is for the pictures! :) So, enjoy the new shots of our little guy.
