9 month well visit stats

I wanted to post Dietrich's stats from his 9 month appointment before I forgot. He now weighs in at 20 lbs 14 oz (50-75%) which is only a 5 oz weight gain from his appointment 3 months ago, but she said that is normal now that he is mobile. He's also 29 inches long (75%). Doctor said that he is right on track with everything and is a healthy little boy. We are very lucky! I was also thinking, isn't it funny how we post information about our kids when they have a doctor appointment and not when WE have an appointment. Wouldn't it be funny if I posted my stats after one of my weigh-ins?

9 months and counting

I just cannot believe our baby boy is 9 months old! Before you know it, we're going to be breaking out the birthday hats!!
Dietrich is an absolute joy. I love waking up every morning knowing that I get to spend the day with this amazing boy! He's now decided that he wants to crawl like a big boy. He only does the army crawl when there's something he REALLY wants or if he gets out of 'step' with his big boy crawl. He LOVES to play on the hearth with his toys. He'll even 'walk' himself up and down the hearth when he's playing. I'm sure we have a while before he's really walking, but I know the time is going to fly by.
One of my best girlfriends, Melissa, is coming up for a visit next weekend. Melissa has a beautiful little girl, Mollie, and I cannot wait for Dietrich to meet her. I'm sure there will be several Kodak moments!!
